YOUNG ENTERPRISE Ò PRIMARY PROGRAMME |
Some Upper sixth students have been involved in the above programme since January 2010.
The aim of this programme is to show young children the relevance of education to the work place. Its sequential approach helps them understand their economic world, and prepares them for learning and lifelong achievement. Through a variety of hands-on activities, children gain a better understanding of the relationship between what they learn in school and the business world.
This programme supports the new N.Ireland Education for Employability Curriculum. Students develop career planning skills, learn about their local economy, develop enterprise and entrepreneurial skills. Learning by doing makes the curriculum fun!!
The students have benefited by gaining a better understanding of teamwork, decision-making, creativity and communication skills, essential for success in all areas of their lives.
A great experience by all the students so far!!! Ò keep looking up this section for updated photographs.
